I make use of rechargeable batteries exclusively but I must admit, I am not too disciplined when it comes to charging the ones that I replace. Once I noticed that my wall clock in the kitchen was losing time so I asked my house cleaner if she could replace it with the other set of batteries in the top drawer. She replaced it, set the time, and placed the old batteries in the charger set. That evening I came home after a hectic day at the office, not noticing that the time was incorrect. The next morning I woke up very early since I had the most important meeting of my entire career and I did not want to be rushed. I saw that it was six o’clock and thought that I had plenty of time when in actual fact it was just after seven, I had put uncharged rechargeable batteries in the drawer which my maid used, then she set the time and also never noticed that the clock was not moving. I ran into the office one minute before my meeting.
