Privacy and Security Statement
Your privacy and security are very important to us at Petunia ArtWorks (dba "The
Vintage Workshop Cards"). We want to make your experience on our site as enjoyable
and rewarding as possible.
The Vintage Workshop Cards is a commercial partner of The Vintage Workshop. Together
we bring you the e-card service featured on this site. You have the opportunity
to 'opt-in' and sign up for the e-newsletters offered by The Vintage Workshop Cards,
The Vintage Workshop or both. If you 'opt-in' to receive communications from both
of us, your personal data may be shared between The Vintage Workshop Cards and The
Vintage Workshop to bring you product and special promotion announcements of interest.
If you "opt-in" to receive communications from only one of us, we will not share
your personal data with the other party.
The information we learn from customers helps us personalize and continually improve
your experience at our e-card service. Here are the types of information we gather.
Information You Give Us: We receive and can store any information you enter
on our Web site or give us in any other way. For example, we will store your registration
information that includes your name, address, email address. If you provide the
names and email addresses of people you send e-cards to, we may store that also
in your personal address book if you requested that. We will NOT store your credit
card information. You can choose not to provide certain information,
but then you might not be able to take advantage of many of our features. We use
the information that you provide for such purposes as responding to your requests,
customizing future shopping for you, improving our products, and communicating with
you.
Automatic Information: We receive and store certain types of information
whenever you interact with us. For example, like many Web sites, we use "cookies,"
and we obtain certain types of information when your Web browser accesses VintageWorkshopCards.com.
A number of companies offer utilities designed to help you visit Web sites anonymously.
Although we will not be able to provide you with a personalized experience if we
cannot recognize you, we want you to be aware that these tools exist.
E-mail Communications: To help us make e-mails more useful and interesting,
we may receive a confirmation when you open e-mail from us if your computer supports
such capabilities. We also compare our customer list to lists received from other
companies, in an effort to avoid sending unnecessary messages to our customers.
If you do not want to receive e-mail or other mail from us, please make those changes
by clicking on the "Your Account" tab.
We limit the sharing of your personal information to the following:
- As we continue to develop our business, we might sell or buy subsidiaries, business
units, and assets of one or both of our companies. In such transactions, customer
information generally is one of the transferred business assets but remains subject
to the promises made in any pre-existing Privacy Statement.
- We release account and other personal information when we believe release is appropriate
to comply with the law; enforce or apply our Conditions of Use; or protect the rights,
property, or safety of our companies or our users. This includes exchanging information
with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
Obviously, however, this does not include selling, renting, sharing, or otherwise
disclosing personally identifiable information from customers for commercial purposes
in violation of the commitments set forth in this Privacy Statement.
- We will need to share your personal information with certain of our partners (such
as credit card companies) in order to process transactions and to provide you with
the e-card services.
- Other than as set out above, you will receive notice when information about you
might go to third parties, and you will have an opportunity to choose not to share
the information.

stated otherwise, our current Privacy Statement applies to all information that
we have about you and your account. We stand behind the promises we make, however,
and will never materially change our policies and practices to make them less protective
of customer information collected in the past without the consent of affected customers.
