HELP - Frequently Asked Questions
What are e-cards and e-gifts? How do they work?
The Vintage Workshop Card's e-cards are designed with illustrations and photos from
the late 1800s into the 1950s. We've combined the timeless images with timely sentiments
for you to share with your friends and family via the Internet. You choose the appropriate
e-cards from our ready-to-send collection. Once you personalize your e-card selection,
it will be sent to your recipient's email address. The recipient receives an e-mail
from us with the retrieval instructions. This is a simple fun way to communicate
with your best buds or with that special someone.
Recall happy days, and make your e-card even more memorable by choosing an e-gift.
These special virtual vintage e-gifts come from our collection of home crafts, fancy
work, craft projects, stories, poems, and paper dolls, just to name a few. We’ve
collected original works from days gone by (lots of antique shop browsing!), and
through the magic of digitization, we've captured these memories and saved them
in Adobe Acrobat Reader files for easy reading, sharing and printing. Most people
know about and use this very popular free software to open files and read documents.
Please go to www.adobe.com to get a free copy of Acrobat Reader. Then when you open
our e-gifts, you'll recall the fun of cutting out paper dolls and playing for hours
in a sunny corner of your bedroom.
Do I need to subscribe to use the e-card service?
No. VintageWorkshopCards.com offers a small selection of FREE cards to let you try
the service without obligation. But for access to our more than 200 e-cards and
50 e-gifts, you’ll need to have either an Annual or Week’s Pass subscription.Subscribe

Can I change, cancel or delete my e-card order?
Unfortunately, e-cards cannot be changed once they're sent. Once you've ordered
an e-card, we do our best to send it out immediately
Can you re-send an e-card?
No, you can’t re-send an e-card that has already been sent. However, you can select
the same e-card from the collection (if it is still available), personalize it,
and send it again.
Are my e-card messages confidential?
E-card messages are ALWAYS confidential and securely protected. We use your recipient’s
e-mail address only to send them your e-card.
Are the e-cards and e-gifts protected by copyright law?

Socket Layer (SSL) technology to protect storage and transference of your data.
We also use a digital secure server ID to give you more security when you access

To protect your account information, we ask that you enter a valid user name and
password to access your e-card service subscription. When you use a credit card
to purchase products and services, we do not save your credit card information once
your transaction is complete. We hope this is not an inconvenience to you. We believe
that to assure its confidentiality, you are the only one who should possess that
information.
How do I access and change my personal information?
You can change or delete your personal information at any time. Simply
"Sign in" and then click on the "Your Account" link
at the top of the page.
How do I renew my subscription?
Thirty (30) days before the expiration of your Annual Subscription, we will send
you a reminder e-mail. Since for security reasons we do not retain your credit card
information, the renewal must be completed by you. Return to the e-card site, "Sign in" and click "Your
Account" to assure you have continued use of our e-card site.
If you've purchased a Week's Pass subscription, you'll have 7 days/24 hours per
day to use the e-card site as much as you'd like. If you'd like to upgrade to a
full Annual Subscription, return to the e-card site before the 7 days elapse, "Sign in", click on "Your
Account" and follow the upgrade instructions. You'll get a great price
if you act before the Week's Pass subscription expires.
Will this work on all computers and browsers?
Currently, the site is optimized for the PC platform and works best with Internet
Explorer 6.0. It will also work on the PC with Firefox although there may be some
display and functional differences. Plans are underway to extend full functionality
to Mac users in the near future. Mac users will see best results using the latest
Firefox browser, but we are not able to guarantee performance at this time.
Why won't the card personalization process work for me?
Ensure that you have JavaScript enabled on your browser. The e-card creation process
requires JavaScript function. As noted elsewhere, we do not fully support the Mac
platform but we are working to resolve these issues. The best Mac performance will
be achieved using the latest Firefox browser.
Why won't my e-card open?
There are numerous reasons that this could occur. Your e-card could have expired
(they are only available for 30 days), the site may be down for maintenance, or
perhaps the network you are viewing our site from has a firewall policy which prevents
the viewing of certain images.
Can my computer receive a virus from your e-cards?
No. You can’t receive a virus from our e-cards. Viewing the e-cards does not require
the download or running of any files that have the potential of being virus carriers.
How can I get my e-card to go to an AOL or Yahoo account that won't take it?
We have done our best to conform the e-mail our servers send out to the standards
of these two services. If you still encounter a problem please email us at
customersupport@vintageworkshopcards.com.
Why wasn't my e-card received?
When your recipient doesn't receive your e-card, the problem is often a typing error.
Double-check the accuracy of your recipient's e-mail address. It's also possible
that your recipient or their Internet service provider could be blocking e-mail
from our server. If your recipient doesn't receive your e-card, just forward the
e-mail confirmation you received from us. This confirmation contains the URL that
will take your recipient to the viewing page on our e-card site.
Why didn't I receive a confirmation e-mail that my e-card was delivered?
If you didn't receive a confirmation e-mail, it may be that an invalid e-mail address
was entered, and that the confirmation was misdirected. Or it is possible that the
e-mail address was typed incorrectly. It’s also possible that you or your Internet
service provider has a "spam" blocker enabled that mistakenly interpreted our e-mail
as unwanted.
I see a blank or white page instead of my e-card?
Most likely the problem is temporary. Try waiting for a few minutes and then trying
again. If you're still unable to view the e-card, you may have to clear your browser'
cache. If you're trying to view an e-card behind a corporate firewall, those systems
may prevent you from doing so.
How do I download or print my e-card?
Currently, there is not a way to print or download our e-cards with the kind of
quality you’d require. We have future plans to expand our service to provide these
functions. However, if you have sent an e-card, it will be available for viewing
for 30 days.
How can I get help in using your e-card service?
To contact us regarding questions or information about our products or the use of
our e-card service, please email us at
CustomerSupport@vintageworkshopcards.com. Please allow up to one full business
day for a response to your email. However, we will try to respond as soon as possible.
